My Story
My name is Julie
I have worked most of my life within the NHS Hospitals, Community Care, Hospice Care, Fostering and Private Care Companies. I did find myself moving in a totally different direction and running my own beauty and clothing business for some years, and working in the office of our family business, but I always found myself missing the personal contact that comes with helping and supporting people living at home
I moved to the Wirral over 5 years ago, just before lockdown. Moving away from a big city and all my family and friends was a big upheaval for me. I found moving away from family and friends to be difficult initially. This move brought me back into the world of care, where I met lovely clients and was able to help them in whichever way suited them.
My experience of social isolation when I came to the Wirral has only enhanced my empathy and understanding of how I might support my clients and hopefully brighten their day, while helping with jobs around the home or whatever we have planned to do on my visits.
I have an abundance of common sense, which, as we know, can't be taught. I have a can-do will-do attitude, but more importantly, I really do CARE for people
